We are James, Anna, Max and Phoebe, a family from the UK who in the summer of 2025 relocated to West Africa. We have settled in Liberia on the Atlantic coast, where James serves at Trinity Dental Clinic in Monrovia and teaches at the Liberia Dental Therapy School, training the next generation of oral health workers in a country with just a handful of dentists for over five million people.

In Matthew 14 we read that Jesus “saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.” Inspired by this example, we hope to show Christ’s love in practical ways. Through providing much-needed dental care and investing in education, we hope not only to relieve pain and restore health, but also to point people to the One who brings lasting healing and true restoration.

Our prayer is that we will be able to show Jesus’ love to the people of Liberia as we undertake this work.
